Great Britain 1811 Flintshire 1 Shilling Bank Token

1811 1 shilling bank token from Flintshire Bank in Wales. Lovely iridescent target toning with strike weakness in centre of coin on both sides. Coin grades to Almost Uncirculated. One side of the token bears the arms of the County of Flintshire in north-eastern Wales with FLINTSHIRE BANK above and AUGUST 12.1811 below. The other side reads BANK TOKEN in the center with FLINTSHIRE above and ONE SHILLING below.

According to this page on the British Museum site the Flintshire Bank was a provincial bank that existed from 1790 to 1836 when it was sold to North & South Wales Bank.
