General Birdwood Souvenir 1918 Tin Badge

32mm round tin badge with fixed pin on the reverse. Badge contains celluloid portrait of General Sir William Birdwood in an Australian slouch hat and uniform with tie and decorations visible on a white background within an orange border. Above is the letter A in an orange boomerang and the letters NZ in a green feather. To the left and right of the portrait is SOUVENIR 1918 and below GEN. SIR. W. BIRDWOOD. In the bottom right of the orange border in black letters is says S. LANGFIER. PHOTO, Around the edge is the maker’s name, AW PATRICK MAKER 440 RAE ST NTH FITZROY MELB.
