The legends show evidence of more than one strike here with partial engagement of the collar die. The indent site shows a distorted enlarged partial obverse design (brockage). An exceptional error.
Graded by PCGS as MS64 this coin is in an error slab which reads “Closely Overlap Dbl Strk 15% Brockage & P/C”.
