Carlisle R/8 (incorrectly described as c1966) 50mm tombac (bronze). Royal Australian Mint medal. Undated but medal image suggests it was minted after 1984 as the Maklouf portrait was first used in 1985 and the dollar coin first issued in 1984 and with that portrait in 1985. It also is without the $2 coin first issued in 1988, hence a probable issuing timeline of 1985-1988. Sold in the Mint shop as a souvenir. This example not found in a case.
