Sydney Harbour Bridge Medal c1932/5
Awarded to the Kookaburras for Basketball during the Sydney Harbour Bridge inaugural celebrations around the opening of the bridge, 19th March 1932. Edge inscribed “Basket Ball C.G.A.S.A. Kookaburras” C.G.A.S.A is thought to be short for the City Girls Amateur Sports Association. 51mm silver. In blue box of issue, printed on the inner lining “AMOR LTD SYDNEY”.
