1948 Sixpence – Struck Multiple Times in Collar
Interesting 1948 sixpence that has been struck 3 or 4 times in collar and rotated slightly between each strike. Note the obliterated legends on the obverse and reverse. On the right of the image above you can see evidence of the multiple strikes on the edge reeding of the coin.
