Austria 1986/1486 Guldiner Restrikes
Unusual set of three coins measuring 40mm in diameter. They weigh 31.1g and are with an A in a circle and 900 on the edge, indicating they are 90% silver. The are restrikes of the 1486 Austian Guldiner and each has a legend in a different language, English, German and French that reads “FIRST DOLLAR OF THE WORLD”, and in Latin GULDINER UNDIALIS. Presumably they are a similar type to those found on this page issued by the Austrian Hall mint but the mass is different. Perhaps different types were issued?
