1960 Andor Meszaros School Science Teachers Award Medal in Silver -Awarded to K J Mappin 1971
Designed by Andor Meszaros in 1960 and made by Stokes Ltd. 69 millimetre diameter sterling silver medal encased in resin block 96mm x 98mm and 25mm thick. Edge inscribed to the recipient “K.J.MAPPIN B. SC., DIP. ED.” and “VICTORIA, 1971”. The obverse is hallmarked STG SIL. On the reverse AIDA stands for Australian Industries Development Association and this medal for science teaching was awarded during the 1960’s and 1970’s.
