Australian World War 1 Identity Disk E.S. Bath and AASC Title Badge
Impromptu World War 1 AIF identity disk made from a 1914 Belgium 25 Centimes. Both sides of the coin have been flattened and the top holed. The obverse is crudely stamped:

The ID Disk was purchased with an AASC title badge with two attached lugs.
Ernest Stanley Bath, a bootmaker from Ballarat in Victoria served with Australian Army Service Corps as a driver during WW1 having enlisted on 7 July 1915. He returned to Australia in September 1919. You can view his service record here.
