This Australian $2 coin has been struck without the third coin die, the collar. It’s the coin collar that applies the edge milling, none of which we can see on this coin. It hasn’t spread far enough to call it a broadstrike but it’s nearly there, one could nickname it a pancake coin.
Off-centre double strike with 2 dates.
Easily mistaken for a $2 coin blank but look closely and you can see a very faint Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.
